The sixth instalment of an epic science fiction series that tells of humanity's desperate struggle to survive against an overwhelming alien invasion.

The counterattack into enemy territory proved the aliens were far stronger than the humans thought. Whilst many got on with their lives in the hope the aliens would not return, Colonel Mitch Taylor knew better. No longer seeking to occupy Earth, the enemy Lord Demiran wants revenge. This time he means to obliterate Earth with a new terrifying weapon of mass destruction that will mean extinction for the human race.

With time running out, the fight must be taken to Demiran with everything Earth forces have to give in a desperate attempt to save humanity. But beyond the threat of the weapon, Taylor knows they must finish Demiran for good if they are to end the war and bring peace to the world.

Battle Earth is a futuristic sci-fi action adventure series that chronicles vast bloody battles following humanity’s first reach into the stars.

I'm just getting into this Amazon ebook but the amount of missing words and stupid sentence structure are causing me to question whether I should ask for a refund! I'm no English major, but when I find errors on every page, it's pretty bad. I began highlighting the errors but there have been so many that I can't get into the story.

Just be warned, this is a very badly written book. I hope the author takes some pride in his work and gets a revision published!

Ok, I've finished this book and really enjoyed it over all. The story line was pretty good although kind of unrealistic. Well, it is science fiction, but there was a lot of fantasy in the story. I don't understand why Col. Taylor felt he was subordinate to Commander Philips? I always thought a Colonel out ranked a Navy Commander who's equivalent to an Army Lt. Col.,right? I was one (Col.), so I should know. Also, Col. Taylor and his bunch seem to take the loss of their own troops too lightly. Not realistic and never easy to overcome or replace. I did notice that there could be another book in this series. Tsengle has something to say about Col. Chandra. Interesting!

If the author is English, then I can understand some of the strangely worded sentences, but there was way too much just down right bad editing! Didn't anyone read this prior to being published on Amazon? I have read many, many other Amazon ebooks that had some editing errors, but this was by far the worse! You have to really concentrate and ignore these errors to get through this book!

Battle Earth VI eBook Nick S Thomas Reviews

it's still game on with the krycenaeans. the tide is turning, or is it? looks like earth has finally beaten back the aliens in this "chapter" but there is still doubt. there are enough twists and turns in this book to keep you turning the pages. it's a good read and very entertaining. i still think this could and should be developed into a mini series or movie franchise.
I loved this book!! I did have a hard time remembering all the characters at first as I had read all of the previous books at once and then had to move on to other books when I finished them as this book was not out yet. The only complaint that I have with this book is that I had to wait for it to come out. I am not a patient person so waiting is not my strong point. I hope you know I am just kidding but really, GET THE NEXT BOOK OUT!! I cannot wait to read the next one!!!
I don't know really why but this whole seires has grip me. The battle between human and the aliens, is battle of wills.
The books are easy to follow history lines are simple but tell of an epic struggle of will power and how just a few can ruin whole civilizations because they think themselves to to better than everyone else.
I would recommend these books. They are a great read. Once you start, you'll find that you can't stop like I did.
Unfortunately this book in the series is virtually a repeat of one of the earlier books. The only real difference is the location of the big battle. When the author moved the battle off earth I had high hopes that thius series would have new and fresh scenes to deal with. Unfortunately this book brings it all back to earth and almost starts over. I have reservations about purchasing the next book. This is a classic series that should have "wrapped" it all up at about book four.
I AM enjoying the series very much. However, this author NEEDS to PROOF READ his work. He often mixes tenses in the SAME sentences and omits words. Character development needs a LOT of work and so do enemy descriptions. My image of the enemy "mechs" has been square bodied robotic creatures with arms and legs...like the old style wind-up toys. NOT fearsom alien warriors in high tech body armour.

That all said...I buy my copies rather than read the prime free coppies that exist. Support independent writers!
Well,I finally finished number 6 and I notice I have 4 more to go in this series(at
present).
I am pleased to say this book returned to be more like the first couple with good
action and I finished it in one read.Mind you that had me up till 1am to achieve.
I will get 7 now.I stopped the Turtledove series on the alternate WW II after
book 5 as it move far to slowly. As long as this Battle Earth series keeps the pace I
will stay with it.

Most annoying are the misplaced " all over the place. Just clean that up and get another star. Every single page, it seems, has at least one of there's errors. In some cases, multiple ones. And dude, if you're gonna mention D-Day get the friggin date correct.... 1943? Really? Jeez, that one pissed me off...maybe you were mentioning Operation Torch, but that was a U.S. landing when you implied allied ( not to belittle the efforts of the allies in the landing itself, but that was largely US) ..... Lots of other issues, rather small, but they keep this from 5 star. Read Red Tide Rising by Tom Clancy to get an idea of character development. That's a good 5 star example....
